Trevor McDonald will interview some of the top Mafia ring-leaders in a two-part documentary about prison inmates to be aired on ITV. Trevor brought in 6 million viewers when he presented “Death Row” and another 4+ million viewers wtih “”Women Behind Bars”.
During the 2 x 60-minute documentary McDonald will spend time with ‘made men’ who climbed to the top of the hierarchy, undercover law enforcement figures, individuals who managed to break out and the families of those involved.
The programme was shot on location in New York, Miami, Philadelphia and Southern California. It was commissioned by ITV controller of factual Jo Clinton-Davis and director of factual Richard Klein, and was produced by Lisa Keane and Max Andrews. Tom Willis is series producer for the show.
