Susanna Reid was reportedly offered 1 million pounds to join ITV. If the rumor is true, and Susanna accepts, she would be one of the hosts of the new Good Morning Britain show (which is Daybreak, revamped and renamed). With a 1 million pound offer, what’s there to debate? Unless the BBC comes up with a better offer, Susanna Reid will be shifting studios soon.
CROYDON-BORN TV host and twinkle-toed Strictly star Susanna Reid could be about to change channels.
Reports this week suggested the 43-year-old has been offered a £1 million deal to front a revamped breakfast show on ITV.
The BBC Breakfast presenter’s stock has risen since she appeared on – and almost won – Strictly Come Dancing last year (2013).
Reid, a huge Crystal Palace fan, hails from Croydon and attended Croham Hurst and Croydon High Schools. In an interview with the Advertiser last year, she spoke with fondness of her days growing up in this neck of the woods, saying she had “nothing but good memories” of Croydon.
She was born in Purley in 1970 and then lived in Warlingham, Surrey, and Selsdon.
The new show, expected to be titled Good Morning Britain, would replace ITV’s ill-fated Daybreak, previously hosted by big-name signings Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley.

Susanna Reid may be joining ITV on a newly revamped Daybreak show (renamed Good Morning Britain). I think she’ll make a wonderful host and wish her the best.
