Since Olly Murs announced that he will step back from his job as host at ‘The Xtra Factor’ , several names have started to be speculated about who is going to take his place. The latest name on this list is the radio host Nick Grimshaw.
He will make a really good candidate for presenting The Xtra Factor because he has a really close bond to co-presenter Caroline Flack, and of course, for his famous relationship with X Factor alumni Harry Styles.
However, the show’s bosses are keeping the silence about who is going to replace Olly Murs. A spokesperson from the show said that details for the new series have not been confirmed yet.
Other names that are in the race for the job include another X Factor contestant: Rylan Clark. The singer had declared his interest saying that this would be his ‘dream job’. Every series needs a bit of Rylan style. It’s the dream job, especially coming from the show. Not sounding big-headed but if you talk about X Factor from last year there’s three whose names you will bring up and I’d like to think I would be one of them, he declared.
Caroline Flack, the show co-host, has expressed her support for Rylan, by the time this news surfaced. But now she might change her mind, as her close friend is in the race. She declared that even if it’s ‘early in the year to talk about X Factor stuff’, she thinks Clark would be brilliant for the job. Rylan would be brilliant on telly Flack said. He’s made for it really. I got to know him for six months – he’s very infectious and lovely to be around.
