X Factor Week Three Arena Round-Up

X-Factor is heating up!  This year we have some very lively and entertaining acts to follow. Here’s the X Factor week three arena round-up to keep you up to date just in case you missed anything along the way. I can’t imagine why you would though!

X Factor

Up first, bringing a bit of sunshine into our lives, was Souli Roots. Her…unique take on Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds had even the judges dancing in the aisles. Despite a bit of uncertainty over the quality of her voice, the reggae artist made it through to Bootcamp.

Lydia Lucy took to the stage next, determined to show the judges that she didn’t need to be put into a girlband. She certainly did that, and more, with her version of The Way You Make Me Feel and made it through to the next round.

Boyband Rough Copy sang One Direction’s Little Things to a swooning audience. Although Mrs O warned them not to be ‘too cocky’, she still voted the talented trio into Bootcamp.

Up next was the much anticipated Stephanie Woods. Having made it through to sing for Sharon at her house in LA in 2007, the 20-year-old was back and firing on all cylinders in her room audition, even making Mrs O cry! But her song choice for the arena audition (I Drove All Night) left Gary cold and it looked like it might be second time unlucky for the entertainer. However, she pulled it back with 30 seconds of Songbird by Fleetwood Mac and the judges ‘couldn’t not’ put her through.

We’re well on the way to a new X-Factor star, but who will it be? This is one show I really look forward to watching. Who is your favourite so far?  How does this series compare to previous series?  Are you glad Sharon Osborne is back?  I certainly am, she adds a great dimension to the show that was missing since she left.
