The Big Reunion concert as it happened

It was a big night for the reunited groups because it was their first concert back after many years. So no wonder they we’re nervous but excited about the big comebacks. Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, B*Witched, 911, Blue and Five returned on the stage after intense months of  preparing.

Michele Heaton from Liberty X was in particular nervous about her cat suit, worrying if it would still fit her, after a rehearsal incident when it split. Turns out she had nothing to worry about, because she looked hot as ever in her tight PVC outfit, bearing her midriff and towering stiletto boots. Michelle tweeted right before the show started Almost show time! Me and my @LibertyX2013 girls getting into the catsuits! Lets hope it doesn’t rip [like] it did in our fittin #crotchalert X. Her band colleague Jessica Taylor looked like she hasn’t aged a bit in ten years, all fit in her all-in-one black catsuit with halterneck. Her hair was up in her trademark quiff, with slightly darker blonder locks. New mommy Kelli Young was also worried about their skin-tight outfits, because she gave birth seven months to twins, but it also looked slick and hot, proving herself wrong.

The girls took the Hammersmith Apollo stage with confidence, performing their well-known hits like “Just A Little Back”.  They we’re joined by former originals Tony Lundon and Kevin Simm, also dressed in black, and they’re performance was like back in the good ol’days.

Not only Liberty X got back in the outfits that characterized them. B*Witched returned to their beloved denim, opting now for a more grown-up version: dungarees paired with red stilettos or skinny red-jeans.

Atomic Kitten had a memorable moment, due to Kerry Katona’s wardrobe incident (during a move that involved a bit more energy, something popped out of her cleavage), but despite that the girls won everyone’s hearts. Kerry told on the ITV show that she didn’t know how she will be able to resist without a cigarette during the dance routines, but she seemed energetic in her neon top and black boiler suit.

The 911 boy band impressed the audience with their performance, which included some flips and other acrobatic move.

5ive did a great job, despite the fact they failed to find a replacement for J Brown.

You will be able to see the Big Reunion Concert on ITV2 on March 28, with exclusive backstage footage. Or if you’re a fan you can catch the bands on the upcoming tour that will begin at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena on May 3, and will end in Belfast.
