Susanna Reid Needs Help to Make Good Morning Britain a Success

According to Richard and Judy, Susanna Reid needs help to make Good Morning Britain, the Daybreak replacement show, a success. The problem can’t be identified though. Nobody seems to know why Daybreak’s ratings have slipped into the dungeon. Susanna knows she’s got an uphill battle ahead of her and we wish her success.

THE telly couple, who fronted This Morning for 13 years, said Susanna will have a tough task making new show – Good Morning Britain – a success.

SUSANNA Reid will not save Daybreak’s replacement show on her own, according to Richard and Judy.

Presenter Susanna, 43, quit BBC Breakfast to host ITV’s upcoming Good Morning Britain, but the telly couple warned she had a tough task ahead.

Judy Finnigan – who fronted This Morning with husband Richard Madeley for 13 years – said: “Will Daybreak survive? I don’t think it is to do with celebrities or the presenters.

“I think it is about the programme, which either works or it doesn’t, and I don’t understand it. It is a mystery.”

She pointed out that even popular Lorraine Kelly struggled to rescue Daybreak after she was brought in to fix Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles’s ratings disaster.

At the Royal Television Society Awards, Judy said: “Lorraine is brilliant and even she is having problems with that format.”
