Joey Essex’s Sister Frankie Talks About His New Jungle Romance

One of most anticipated things about I’m a Celbrity, Get Me Out of Here are the  romances that develop during the contest. These romances occur more often that not but rarely pan out in the long-term. So what about Joey Essex’s budding new romance with Amy Willerton, former Miss Universe?  Well Joey’s sister Frankie has something to say bout his new jungle romance. She says Amy’s too boring for Joey.  I wonder what Joey things?  Let’s see…

Joey Essex and Amy

Anyone who has been watching the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here will know that there’s a bit of a ‘will they won’t they’ situation going on between TOWIE’s Joey Essex and former Miss Universe Amy Willerton – with many wondering if their friendship will turn into a good old fashioned (naked) rumble in the jungle.

Amy hasn’t exactly won over Joey’s friends and family just yet, though. In fact, just days after ex-fiancé Sam Faiers branded her a ‘tart’, his sister has stepped in to claim that she’s also ‘too boring’ for the Essex lad. Ouch.

Asked about the flirty friendship between Joey and Amy, Frankie Essex told heat magazine:  “I don’t know if he’s out there for a romance.

“He knows Amy really well. She’s a lovely girl, but I don’t think she’s for Joey. She’s really boring.”

Again, ouch.

Frankie also revealed that Joey wasn’t exactly prepared for life in the jungle before setting off to Australia for the ITV reality show.

“We went out for his last meal and had sticky ribs,” she recalled. “I said to him, ‘You aren’t going to be having nice food like this, you’ll be having kangaroo’.

“He was like, ‘You’re joking?’ I don’t think he actually realised what it’s going to be like.”

Will they or won’t they? That is the question everyone is asking and I’m sure it will be borne out soon, but what does this have to do with winning the competition? Absolutely nothing. Watch and see… it won’t make a difference. Who do you think is on the scope to win I”m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here this year?
