James Arthur returns with new music

James Arthur-1777368

James Arthur leaves everybody waiting for some new music, being preoccupied by other things like getting tattoos or ranting on Twitter about The Voice. It would be a shame for the author of ‘Impossible’ not to release anything new, because just after he won the X Factor competition in December he declared: I’ll be really disappointed if I haven’t got any music out by April, I don’t understand why X Factor winners disappear for a year before releasing their first album. I’ll sleep in the studio if I have to.

Well, it’s almost April and it’s just been revealed that a new material will be released in May, after months of hard work. Some of the songs have got a real Boyz II Men r’n’b vibe to them, a source revealed for Heatworld. There are also some quite emotional tracks. He’s written about his family, in particular about how close he is to his sisters. He’s surprisingly sensitive and has really poured his heart and soul into the lyrics.  Reportedly, he has been working in the studio with Amy Winehouse former producer Salaam Remi.

James was also busy for the past months getting a tattoo. For that he went to celebrity tattoo artist Kevin Paul to get his wrist tattooed and he recently revealed what the design was:  homage to King Arthur. Kevin’s list includes a lot of famous names like Harry Styles, Aston Merrygold and Ed Sheeran, and he now just added James as well. It seems that it took him 40 hours to complete James Arthur’s tattoo art.

James was also in the news recently when it was revealed that he participated in the talent show The Voice but he was rejected at the first audition. Will I.Am and Danny O’Donoghue from The Script said they didn’t even know who he was. Danny declared I’ve never heard of him. He didn’t make it through. 30,000 people audition and then they get whittled down to what gets presented to us, so he obviously didn’t make it through to that part. Agreeing with his panel colleague, Will I.Am added: Who is James Arthur?

James took it to Twitter to reply, saying: ‘Who’s James Arthur?’ …He was the dude keeping you off the top spot for weeks…Sights set higher than the voice.

In the meantime, even if the judges from The Voice don’t know who James is, Simon Cowell has plans for the X Factor winner, letting everyone that he is working on James. On Syco we are working hard on James and Ella.I have a very good feeling about these two, he tweeted on Tuesday.
