Everything you Need to Know about the Celebrities in I’m a Celebrity

It’s finalized — the celbrity list for this  year’s I’m a Celbrity, Get Me Out of Here!  After much debate, the show’s executives have signed everyone they think will make this year’s show the best, most eventful show ever. Here is everything you need to know about the celebrities in I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

Ant and Dec

Who will be in this series?

The line-up has just been released, and it’s a stellar cast of hopeful candidates.

The first to arrive in Australia was fashion designer David Emanuel, joined shortly after by snooker legend Steve Davis.

Emanuel has stated that he hates creepy crawlies and is afraid of pretty much everything – small spaces and heights to name a few – so we can’t help but wonder why he wanted to enter the jungle in the first place…

Meanwhile, Steve Davis is keeping schtum about his phobias, but says his biggest fear is that he won’t be able to stop swearing! Better keep it clean, Steve.

Next to be confirmed was Westlife’s Kian Egan followed by EastEnders star Laila Morse and Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter.

Softie Kian Egan revealed that we will miss his family, but the keen star has already started preparations.

The Us Against The World crooner has apparently started fasting in order to shrink his stomach for the show – so he doesn’t feel the pang as much as the other contestants.

Meanwhile, actress Laila hasn’t really thought about it all that much…

Next confirmed to enter was talkshow host Matthew Wright and Miss Universe contestant Amy Willerton.

No doubt Mr Wright will throw some controversy into the jungle, but he admitted that he doesn’t want to turn into a “big girl” when he encounters a spider.

So if we hear any girly screams, we know who the culprit will be…

Certainly not Amy Willerton, that’s for sure – according to the model, she will be the one to save the day when the eight-legged freaks are released.

Amy also revealed that she harbours a secret loathing of china dolls – but to be honest, we doubt there will be too many of them in the jungle.

Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro – aka our favourite dancing geek Carlton Banks – have also been confirmed for the 13th series of the programme.

The final contestant to enter was TOWIE star Joey Essex, who arrived wearing one of the biggest medallions we have ever seen.

He is currently the bookies’ favourite to win the crown, but only time will tell. We wonder if he’s brought any fake tan with him?

The happy (for now) campers are settling into their luxe hotel surroundings, before they are taken to the jungle later this week.

Watching some terrified celebrities screaming, “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here” may be one of life’s greatest pleasures.

Whether it’s being thrown into a coffin full of rats, having to brave a box full of spiders or just living with their fellow celebrities in hellish conditions, TV doesn’t get much better.

Plus, it’s hosted by national treasures Ant and Dec so what could be better?

Now the contestants have been announced and flown across the world to begin their bout of Jungle Fever the questions on everyone’s lips are – who will crack first, who will decide a transparent white bikini is appropriate jungle attire and who will mourn the loss of the witchetty grubs?

It’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and it’s back.
