Cheryl Cole gets emotional as Girls Aloud reunion tour approaches its last show

Cheryl Cole warned us all before that she will be going to suffer a ‘case of tour blues’ when the Girls Aloud reunion tour will come to an end. But apparently this already is starting to happen as the singer is finding it hard to mask her emotions on stage. During the penultimate show at Nottingham’s Capital FM arena on Tuesday, Cheryl was already finding it hard to cope with the imminent end.

The girls were singing their rendition of I’ll Stand By You by The Pretenders and The Promise, in long sequined red dresses, when Cheryl started to get all teary-eyed. She appeared to be struggling with keeping her emotions under control during the song. A source close to the band also claims that Cheryl is not the only one getting emotional about the end of their tour, which will finish in Liverpool on Wednesday night.

The source said: They’re getting more and more emotional in every performance as they near the end. The Girls Aloud members have expressed their feelings about the tour on Twitter, with Cheryl posting a while ago We are definitely gonna have a case of tour blues!! It’s gone far too quickly, and Nadine Coyle adding Let’s extend the tour!!!! Xxxx.

The reunion tour was a delight for the fans around the country, with the girls playing some new material recorded specially for the occasion, as well as their top hits like ‘Jump’, ‘Love Machine’ or ‘Something Kinda Ooh’. Reportedly, the Ten tour will be the last time the girls would perform together, but Kimberley Walsh has recently dissed the allegations, saying the group intends to reunite again in the future. Why would we stop doing tours or making records? It’s a joy to do. There’s no reason why we can’t keep going through our OAP years, she said.
