Britain’s Got Talent Stars Collabro to Release new Album “Star”

The Britain’s Got Talent group Collabro will be in Carlisle on Monday, August 18th 2014 to release their new album, named “Star”.  The group will be on hand and fans are expected to swamp the city. Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro are a busy bunch – but not too busy to drop into Media Wales to give us a quick burst of Let It Go from the film Frozen.

And before they did that we put each of the Britain’s Got Talent winners on the spot to ask them some really important questions – like who’s the best, Ant or Dec?

And if they had to choose between BGT judges Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell, which one would it be?

Since capturing the nation’s attention and topping the TV talent show in June, the musical theatre boyband have recorded their debut album Stars and announced a hefty 31-date UK tour for 2015 (including shows in Cardiff and Llandudno).

But the quintet – comprised of Michael Auger, Richard Hadfield, Jamie Lambert, Matt Pagan and Thomas Redgrave – are loving every second of the journey, after beating the likes of Bars and Melody to take the talent show crown.

“We’re still not quite sure we’re famous, but we haven’t really stopped since BGT,” said Michael.

“We went straight into the recording process and had a list of 30 songs that we had put together. Simon [Cowell] had the final say of the 10 that were used on the album and it was terrifying to know he listens and looks at everything,” Jamie added
