Britain’s Got Talent, have you got what it takes?

Auditions open for the 2014 Britain’s got Talent series.

It was at the beginning of the summer that we saw the latest winners of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent announced by friendly presenting duo Ant and Dec. The Act that received the most votes for their truly remarkable skills was dance troupe Attraction. After the obligatory moments of tension where the competitors and the viewers alike waited nervously for the winner to be announced it was with joy that we watched the young dancers jump and shout with glee when they were crowned the winners.

The dancers all seemed overwhelmed by the news and could barely find the words with one of the members simply saying:

“It’s amazing, yes, thank you very much “

The runner up comedian Jack Carroll took his defeat very graciously, even managing to crack a final joke when the winners were announced.

Last series certainly had its moments with its fair share of absolutely fantastic, and of course some totally bonkers acts auditioning for a place on the show. There were tears and tantrums and even Simon Cowell didn’t escape during the finals were he was egged by a disgruntled former contestant.

However all in all it was a brilliant series and now we are looking forwards to see what the 2014 Britain’s Got Talent series will hold.

Can you sing or juggle, are you always making  people laugh, can you shake your thing on the dance floor, do you have an especially talented pet? Well you never know what could happen if you auditioned for Britains Got Talent. Registration for the next series is open and you can register up until February 2014.  The formidable foursome that make up the judging panel will remain the same for the next series namely David Williams, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and of course Simon Cowell.
