Ant & Dec’s relationship just got closer

'Britain's Got Talent' judges auditions

There is no secret that the television duo is inseparable but the two just revealed that they are insured against one of them dying. Wait….what?

In an interview for Radio Times magazine they told how if something happens to one of them, the other will receive a lot of money. It’s not for tens of millions but a fair chunk. If [Dec] does ever die in unfortunate circumstances, I’m going to be the first person the police come to because I’ve got a motive, Ant joked. Maybe when we’re 50 and not getting paid as we used to, I’ll knock him off.

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donelly have been together on screen since they we’re thirteen, when they’ve played in the hit BBC children’s drama Byker Grove. PJ and Duncan, their characters we’re friends and this led to a real off-screen friendship between the two. In 1993 they got a record contract and just in four years they got 14 top twenty hits, three multi-platinum albums, a lot of awards, and even a World Tour. They put a stop to their musical career and focused on doing television, which eventually got them hosting the Britain’s Got Talent competition.

The duo will be back on the ITV screen next month hosting the new season of Britain’s Got Talent competition, after they just ended another successful “I’m a Celebrity…Get me Out of Here”  series. Ant is really excited about what is coming in the new run: You think you’ve seen it all, and then a man with a saucepan on his head turns up! We can’t wait to see who or what turns up this time. On the other hand, Dec seems more worried on what could impress Cowell this time, after Pudsey won last year: Simon was the happiest I have ever seen him when Ashleigh and Pudsey won! I’m not sure we’ll ever see him as happy again – so that’s the challenge, Great Britain: show us what you’ve got!
