Welcome to ITV Competitions where we bring you daily updates and answers to the TV competition questions and much more. The UK is known as one of the best places in the world for television and competitions. Put the two together and you’re onto a winner! Unlike the BBC, ITV are not government-supported, yet they compete (and often beat) their competitors by winning ratings week on week with a host of top shows, however a key tactic they successfully use to win over the viewers is that of the itv.com competitions. Throughout many of their shows, ITV use competitions with simple questions and answers to wow the viewers and be winners in their own ratings contest.
How The ITV Competitions Work
ITV are a television channel and as such they have many TV shows, however nearly all the competitions on these shows follow a similar format that allows for the greatest number of entries. The tv channel require as many entries as possible due to revenue generated by these competitions (which, of course, is required to keep the competitions going – hey, someone has to pay for the amazing prizes…and it ain’t the government because ITV do it all themselves!).
With ITV competitions there is normally a very simple question with 3 options as answers, usually it is very obvious;
How Many Singers are in a Quartet?
(A) two (B) three (C) four
You then have a number of methods of entry including text message, phone call and website. More emphasis is placed on the telephone and text numbers (although I’ve noticed recently this emphasis has reduced). Telephone and text entries generate immediate revenue for the channel through a high-tariff number. It is the choice of many due to the convenience – how far away from you is your mobile? The free entry option is to go to the website & enter – save yourself a quid! Once you enter you will normally be introduced to several other free entry competitions from third parties. These are usually affiliate based competitions whereby if you enter itv earn a small commission (similar to the ads on this site). This means itv still have a chance of generating revenue & you have the free entry option; we say “win win” (just the way we like it!).
The Major ITV Competitions
With so many shows there is something for everyone but the big daddy in our opinion are the mid week this morning competitions, although it is just one competition / prize, the thismorning competition is frequently referred to as daybreak competition (the section of the show that is on early in the morning) or Lorraine competition (Lorraine hosts the later part of the This Morning tv show). In our opinion this is the most popular of the itv competitions due to the large number of viewers and it being announced every day mid-week for maximum opportunity to enter. The prize is always awesome - usually +£25,000 every week!!!
Other important ones are loosewomen competition which is also a morning chat show and the Dickinson’s real deal competition looks at antiques (another daytime tv show). In the evening the chase competition (hosted by Bradley Walsh) and the cube competition (presented by Phillip Schofield) are two of the best to enter…but our favourite (by far) is the gadget show competition with amazing prizes to keep every gadget loving geek and their mates happy for life!
ITV.com Competitions Entry Online
Think of the competitions as itv.com competitions – this means you are more likely to enter online. If you test or call it’ll cost you a quid – so think twice, make a cuppa tea and go online!
ITV Competitions Answer

To enter most of the itv competitions you will need to watch the individual tv shows where they announce the question several times throughout the show. You then either call, text or go to the website to enter. There are websites which provide the questions (& sometimes answers) for all the itv competitions incase you miss them!
ITV.com Competitions Winners
Many people do not want their details announced, however you will find details of some competition winners on the itv website. We can assure you ITV is a very legitimate company and if you have any concerns regarding any of the itv competitions you can contact them via their website.
